Kristen Hall is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who received her education at Roosevelt University and Adler University, graduating with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology. She utilized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) while tailoring therapy to best treat the individual. She was a Mental Health Counselor for many years on the child and adolescent inpatient unit at Rush University Medical Center. She also worked at The University of Chicago administering neuropsychological testing. Kristen also has worked at Rogers Behavioral Health as a Family Therapist for the child and adolescent OCD, anxiety, depression recovery, and mental health and addictions recovery partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program. Kristen enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, and their families and has experience treating individuals with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and acting out or behavioral disorders. Kristen strives to help change the stigma associated with mental health challenges by fostering acceptance and understanding by educating the community. Kristen loves to spend her free time enjoying her family and practicing yoga. She grew up in the Chicagoland area and was a competitive gymnast and dancer. She has learned over the years that all struggles cannot be avoided, but they can be overcome, help us to learn, and mold us into strong, resilient, compassionate, and empathetic beings that the world so desperately needs.
